What this option means for an adult in Worcester
A Worcester adult can review MVBH’s adult outpatient treatment programs while considering the practical guidance in its New England treatment access overview. MVBH provides in-person treatment only at 77 Elm St, Amesbury, Massachusetts. It does not operate a Worcester facility, so location and attendance requirements should be considered before making a plan.
The central tradeoff is between treatment structure and the duties that must continue during care. A more time-intensive program may provide greater daytime structure, but it can require larger changes to work, classes, caregiving, and transportation. A less intensive schedule may be easier to coordinate, yet it still needs to match assessed clinical needs.
MVBH provides adult Full Day Treatment, also called PHP, Half Day Treatment, also called IOP, outpatient care, Virtual IOP, and dual-diagnosis services. These are outpatient services.
Virtual IOP can remove travel to Amesbury for live sessions. Participants must still be physically present in Massachusetts during every live session. A screening or appropriate clinical assessment, rather than this page, determines whether any program is suitable.
