What to expect when you contact admissions
A first conversation can begin with the reason for reaching out and the type of information you need. Admissions can explain MVBH’s outpatient programs, the role of a screening, how benefits verification works, and what the next practical step may be. Timing depends on screening, program fit, benefits review, and current availability.
It can help to prepare a short list of questions: Which outpatient levels are available? What is the usual schedule? What happens in a screening? What information is needed for a benefits review? How are virtual-care eligibility and Massachusetts location requirements discussed? What should someone do if their needs are urgent or exceed outpatient care?
A phone conversation is also a better place than a website form to discuss sensitive personal circumstances. MVBH’s public forms are designed for callback and benefits-request details, not diagnosis, medication, trauma, or other clinical information.
